Found A Calm Sea and Some Good Fishing

It got hot this afternoon, and it looks to get hotter over the next couple of days.  I did a Live report with Captain Dale Lisi of Foolish Pleasures this afternoon and the ocean was flat calm.

Fresh off his $629,000 win in the OC Tuna Tournament, Captain Alex Beane and the crew of the Boss Hogg had another great day today with two white marlin releases and som very nice yellowfin tuna.

Captain Mark Hoos and the crew of the MARLI had a good day in the deep today with some tuna and mahi for their anglers.

Captain Tony Battista of Saltwater Adventures had three great trips today with two of them producing some keeper flounder to 19.5″.

 

Captain Will Poole of Local Hooker Fishing Charters has had some good fishing lately with plenty of throwback flounder and some keepers in the mix too.

Anglers fishing with Captain Jason Mumford on board Lucky Break Charters had a great day with sheepshead and plenty of keeper flounder up to 22″.

Captain Dave Caffrey of On the Run Charters had a good day for his anglers putting them on 25 keeper triggerfish.

These folks had a great time reeling in some tasty triggerfish on board the Miss Kathleen today.

Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler reported decent fishing on two shorter trips today with some sea bass and a few very nice flounder.

 

Jordan Lukiewski on LITTLE ANGRY 13′ whaler snuck out in the ocean again to get a matching pair of twenty one inch keeper flounder.

 

Ryan Neves and his buddy had some luck with the sheepshead using Deadly Tackle bottom jigs on the North jetty.
